Press Release: Sen. Dwight Bullard Endorses Scott Fuhrman for Congress

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
September 21st, 2016

South Miami, FL — Scott Fuhrman, businessman and Democratic candidate for Florida’s 27th congressional district issued the following statement on Senator Dwight Bullard’s recent endorsement of Scott in the primary:

“I’m humbled to earn the endorsement of a State Senator, teacher, party leader, and community advocate like Sen. Bullard. He’s a leader for Miami’s working families in the state legislature, and I’m proud to have his support in my race for Congress.”

In his endorsement, Senator Bullard, who’s Senate district has significant overlap with Congressional District 27, said:

“With Scott Fuhrman, Miami has the opportunity to elect someone who will be an effective member of Congress, and who will fight for the middle class, rather than the out of touch, career politician currently representing the 27th District. Fuhrman not only believes in policies that help working people, but actually practices them in his business, providing his employees good wages, healthcare, retirement and other benefits like paid family and medical leave. Our current representative, Rep. Ros-Lehtinen, tries to talk the talk while voting against raising the minimum wage, against equal pay for equal work and for dismantling Social Security and Medicare.”

“This election could not be a clearer choice. Scott Fuhrman stands for Miami working families. I stand for Scott Fuhrman.”
